Recipe for Strawberry Banana Marshmallow Fruit Salad

What You Need

1 cup quartered grapes 1 cup sliced strawberries 2 medium sliced bananas 1 can fruit cocktail 16 ounce 1 can mandarin orange sections 11 ounce 1 can pineapple chunks 16 ounce 1 package softened cream cheese 3 ounce 1 container whipped topping 8 ounce 1 package strawberry banana flavored jello gelatin mix 1 bag miniature marshmallows

How to Make It

Soften the cream cheese to room temperature by placing it on the countertop about 20 minutes before preparation time.

Rinse and drain the fresh fruits and then cut the grapes in quarters, slice the bananas and strawberries. Drain the liquid from the fruit cocktail, mandarin orange sections, and the pineapple chunks. Place all the fruit into a large size mixing bowl and then add about 2 tablespoons lemon juice. Toss fruit to cover and combine. Set aside in the refrigerator to chill until needed.

Using an electric mixer and a large mixing bowl add the soften cream cheese and beat until smooth. Sprinkle in the package of strawberry banana flavored jello gelatin mix and beat to combine. Fold in the whipped topping, while making sure to completely dissolve any dry gelatin mix.

Stir in the miniature marshmallows and then stir into the fruit mixture. You can serve this immediately or you can place it in the refrigerator to chill for at least an hour before serving. Remember, the longer you allow these types of fruit salads to set and chill the better the flavors of all the mixed fruits and ingredients.
