Experience A Super Moist Cake With A Jello Cake Recipe

There is no doubt that we all want to create the ultimate moist and flavorful cake. There are of course a number of recipes that will claim they have the moistest cake, but each of them tends to fall short when compared to a jello cake recipe. These delicious cakes retain quite a bit of moisture and will be among the most delectable cake offerings that you will experience.

While you might figure you can only make fruit flavored variations of these styles, the truth is you can turn a devil's food cake into the same moist experience that you would find in a cherry chip cake. While you might have to replace unflavored gelatin in some of these recipes, this is not too much of a problem as it can be found in most any grocery store you shop in, and the flavor will remain among the best. If you are planning to bake in bulk, you might check into the larger size boxes that come in the big box stores, just be sure you adjust them from the recipe you are making.

Another important consideration to take when you are making a jello cake recipe is that cooking times and temperatures should continue to be adhered to just the same as they would be if you were making a standard cake. Just because they lock in moisture better, does not mean that they will not dry out. Keep your eye on the standard time suggestions that are made for them and you should not have too many problems experiencing this issue in the future.

Once your cake is baked, you will allow it to cool as you normally would and then frost with your favorite frosting. The only difference you should end up noticing is that you have added a moist texture to your cake and that people are asking you for a recipe, even if you popped open your favorite box of cake mix and dumped in a packet of jello. Just try to be creative and come up with some interesting takes on traditional favorites to see if you can improve on them and to see what the final outcome might end up being.

Simple Jello Cake

What You Will Need

1 package yellow cake mix 1 small box jello 3 eggs 1/3 cup vegetable oil 2 cups water 1 container Cool Whip

How to Make It

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and then create you cake according to the standard directions, but use 1 cup of water, eggs and oil as mentioned above. Bake according to their specifications, or until it has come out golden brown, then allow it to cook. When that is done, begin to add a series of tiny holes your cake. Boil the next cup of water and then mix the jello and pour it on the cake and place it in the fridge. Allow the cake to become well chilled. Add whipped topping in between layers or over the top of the cake and then serve.
